Women Cell
The Women Cell functions by the operational promotion of women empowerment through generation of awareness and by addressing grievances specific to female students and staff. The collective aim of the Women Cell is to empower women and contribute to their advancements- academically, professionally and personally.
Objectives of the Cell
- Thorough enhancement of individual self esteem among female students, faculty and staff whilst also working on boosting their self confidence.
- Abolishment of gender-based discrimination and promotion of gender equality.
- Conduct awareness programs for women welfare.
- Adequately and appropriately deal with cases or complaints regarding any type of harassment faced by female students or staff in the college.
- Encourage female staff and students to come forward with their grievances without a worry of being subject to victimization.
- Conduct seminars, soft skill development programs and awareness initiatives to enhance the lives of the women in the college.
- Promote better understanding of gender equality.
- Create a safe space and provide counseling as and when needed
- Make Women Health a priority and promote a good understanding of it among students.
