Adventure Club
The adventure club has been set up with the sole mission of allowing students to procure holistic personality development and tap into their fun side that also promotes venturing beyond the comfort zone and exploring new things they would normally be reluctant of. Important personality traits such as increased belief in oneself and bravery are instilled into the students through the activities of the club. The students constantly have the opportunity to push their limits and stay mentally stimulated.
Proposed Activities
The adventure club started to promote the student’s ability to go through rough terrain and face challenges and adverse conditions with confidence. The activities of the adventure club promote social commitment and responsibility which may lead to facing challenges during natural disasters like flood landslides, earthquakes, etc… The club activities also promote interaction with backward communities especially tribal villages living in remote mountain settlements, and this can provide out-of-curriculum care in a safe and clean environment. Thus indirectly these students grow physically socially emotionally and intellectually. Many different adventurous activities are promoted by this club and some of them include Rafting, Mountain Climbing, Archery, Visits to nearby Forests

Aim
Adventure sports are a great way to build confidence and leadership. Trying new activities and learning beyond what books have to offer go a long way in doing this. It is not only developing a holistic personality but is also very empowering to every individual. It is all about getting out of the comfort zone and walking that extra mile.
The students of Indian Institution of Information Technology, Sri City take up a leadership role under the guidance of trained professionals and experts. This adventure club emphasizes upon not just physical fitness and sports but also aims at building team spirit in a challenging environment through friendship and trust.
In our outbound learning, we aim at consistently helping students gain exposure through experiential learning and work together towards a common goal. This unique combination of learning and adventure makes the effort and experience worthwhile. Outbound activities create awareness and a shift from the common pattern of thought that aids lateral problem solving.
IIITS Adventure Club has many activities such as Kayaking, Trekking, etc., to name a few.
IIITS is the only university to offer and execute such innumerable and exciting adventure activities every year. We look forward to including more such adventurous activities that would motivate students to bridge the gap between study and play. IIITS, who is promoting many such activities for the club, is confident that the activities will enrich the lives of every student and prepare them towards an adventurous future.

Code of Conduct
The VISATs staff reserves the right to suspend or revoke use privileges of anyone who does not adhere to the below conditions or the VISATs Four Values of Respect, Responsibility, Caring, and Honesty.

Members Will:
- RESPECT themselves, fellow teens, staff, volunteers, property, and the environment
- Be RESPONSIBLE for themselves, their property.
- Be HONEST
- CARE about themselves, others, and the Club
- Use appropriate language and behavior
- Be free from use and possession, nor be present during the use by others: of alcohol, tobacco products, drugs, weapons and any items which are considered inappropriate or contribute to vandalism/graffiti
- Abstain from intimate displays of affection or sexual activity
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Be committed to having safe FUN and give 100% to the club effort
- Provide encouragement to individuals and the group
- Speak for themselves…not for anybody else
- Listen to and Communicate with Club members and staff
- Follow directions of VISATs staff and volunteers, and act in a safe and responsible manner

- Attend meetings regularly at least once a month or have an excused absence
- Adhere to the Adventure Club Objectives and Code of Conduct
