Wing Commander Pramod Nair (Retd)
A competent professional and educationist, Wing Commander Pramod Nair (Retd) served in the Indian Air Force for twenty long years before he ventured into field of education. He is passionate about educating and moulding the young minds into resilient, responsible, empathetic and aspiring individuals who will contribute to the development of society and the country. He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Govt Engineering College Ujjain (MP) and an M Tech from BITS Pilani. During his career in Service, he has served in most parts of the country, leading a team of highly qualified engineers. A consummate aviation professional, he has extensive experience in evaluation and certification of indigenously developed aircraft and systems. He played pivotal roles in product development and indigenous substitution of airborne stores. He also served with United Nations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He envisions VISAT Engineering College to become an effective incubator of learning, a place where students are not only educated but challenged, nurtured and encouraged.
